I’m currently a 5th year osteopathy student studying down the road at RMIT Bundoora. Having only recently completed my cert III & IV, I’m excited to help people achieve their goals whilst keeping them free from injury. I chose to go down the coaching pathway as I was noticing a lot of the patients that I was seeing with injuries which could have been mitigated or prevented if they were only stronger and healthier. With current research also supporting this, I believe resistance training is one of the best proactive approaches an individual can take to deal with life’s stressors.
I developed a passion for fitness at 17-years-old when I first stepped into the weight room. At first, I was training purely for the social aspect however it was shortly afterwards that I really noticed the difference in both my strength and physique. 8 years later I have continued to enjoy the process of training and self improvement from both a mental and physical standpoint. Currently I’m powerlifting and am planning to compete mid this year.
In addition to my gym and clinical experience, I’ve also completed other extra courses specialising in the barbell lifts, rehabilitation and exercise assessment. I am well equipped to help find regressions, progressions, and variations to suit the individual in achieving their health and performance goals.
